This wonderful cut from the ‘ham’ of the lamb. Not a lot of people have experience with this cut but if prepared properly, is full of flavor and tenderness. Never made lamb before? Not to worry, some of our orders come with a lamb cook book from the American Lamb Association. If all else fails, use garlic and cook ‘low and slow.’

Free local pick-up options for Ames and Des Moines Farmers Markets on Saturdays May - October. Shipping time varies depending on your location and date of order. Unless otherwise communicated, items will ship between 2-7 days. You'll receive an email and tracking number when your box is shipped. Make sure to coordinate to get your meat in the freezer ASAP after drop-off. With product moving quickly, some of your preferences may be out of stock before your shipping date. Farm Story will substitute any out of stock items with the closest equivalent cut and refund any difference.
