Teal Fan Shaped Wooden Earrings

These adorable turquoise green earrings are trendy in style, lightweight to wear and gorgeous in color! They feature sterling silver ear wire and my handmade glass beads in a turquoise green color with clear glass over the color. I make the glass beads using a torch and kiln.

Materials: wood, sterling silver, glass beads
Size: approximately 2 inches in length and 1.75 inches wide

MY PROCESS:
My products are handmade. Here’s more info on what process I use to make this pair of earrings:
1) Stain the wooden pieces
2) After the stain has dried, I paint the wooden pieces on both sides to get the “dipped” look.
3) I am a lampwork artist which means I make the glass beads featured in this pair by using a torch to melt a glass rod. For this pair, I use a teal rod, and melt the glass to make the beads. Once I have the shape and size I want, I put it in a kiln to cool slowly so it’s strong and durable for everyday use and wear.
4) I clean the beads and then attach it with sterling silver ear wire to the wooden piece.
