Up-Cycled Felted Wool Sweater Mittens

Description

I am fussy when I select which sweaters make the cut, when I make my felted wool mittens.  Felted wool is superior to blocking the wind and cold.  Each sweater felts differently so each pair will be a different thickness, which creates its uniqueness.  The more it felts the warmer it will be. Mittens can be made from just one sweater or a mix of two or three.  All mittens are lined in new polar fleece to add softness.  Please see photos.

Once size fits most, some fit smaller hands better and there will be notes with that pair if that is the case.

These mittens felted beautifully, they are medium to Heavy weight  You feel much wind and cold with these.
