We know, who writes a children’s book about quitting?!? Well, we did. We teach kids about motivation, perseverance, determination, but sometimes? Sometimes quitting is the best thing – sometimes quitting leads to BETTER things.

Quitting has a negative connotation in our society, but some of the best things in life start with quitting something that wasn’t the right fit. This is a book about trying new things in order to find that right fit for you.

Jean Herring and Shannon Triplett are a mother/daughter duo from Iowa City. Jean spent 35 years reading books with children as a mother, a daycare provider, and a kindergarten educator.
Shannon grew up in Iowa City and now works as a screenwriter in Los Angeles. Together they combined Jean’s knowledge of childhood education and Shannon’s writing skills to write I QUIT! A children’s book about trying new things.
