I am passionate about creating personal care items that are both beautiful AND good for you. I personally tend to be sensitive when it comes to synthetic fragrances, so I am focused on creating beautiful hand-made “all natural” items scented and colored with plant-based and mineral ingredients. However, because not everyone is sensitive to synthetic fragrances, I also create what I call “mostly natural” items that are formulated according to the same recipes as their natural counterparts, but fragranced with man-made fragrance oils.

Hand-made soap is less drying than store-bought cleansing bars (commonly referred to as “soap”) and I use only food-grade ingredients that many of us already have in our kitchen, such as olive oil, coconut oil, and avocado oil. If you’ve ever used hand-made soap that doesn’t really lather and weren’t impressed, be assured that not all hand-made soap is similar! I love a rich, creamy-lathering bar of soap and only sell soap that meets my personal, high expectations. Sure, we could all get clean with a plain bar of soap, but my philosophy is to add that little “extra” of also being beautiful so something we need and use every day will also make us smile. 🙂

Oh, and when I’m not making soap or lotion, I’m probably knitting!
